I genuinely love the work I do, and I also love teaching about the work.  I offer small and large group trainings covering a range of topics related to trauma and interpersonal violence, in a variety of formats.  With experience presenting to a myriad of organizations and groups at the local, regional, and national levels, I will work with you to create a custom tailored training or lecture that meets the unique needs of your group. Professional Case Consultation For Court Involved Cases

Even professionals need help navigating cases from time to time.  I offer professional case consultation for licensed therapists working with victims of interpersonal violence and other crimes, specializing in cases with criminal court involvement.  Drawing on more than fifteen years of clinical and advocacy work in this arena, I can help with: *

• addressing the unique clinical challenges of working with victims/survivors of crime

• victim compensation through the New York State Office for Victim Services (OVS), including counseling reimbursement

• interpreting and navigating the rules and procedures of the criminal justice system, from reporting to sentencing and appeal

• understanding the rights and obligations of therapists and clients within the criminal justice process

• Readiness for depositions and testimony

• working effectively with prosecutors, defense attorneys and other criminal justice professionals​​
